Currently residing in Austin, Texas, Christian has been collecting 1920s and 1930s hot dance and jazz 78s for about four years. Even though he is only twenty-four, he has long had a fascination for early 20th century history and popular culture.  Thus, after being introduced to vintage recordings through Radio Dismuke, Weimar Rundfunk and Redhotjazz.com, Christian immediately sought to learn more about the genre and hear more of the wonderful music.

Aside from record collecting, Christian is an avid World War Two reenactor, antique militaria collector, and vintage men's fashion aficionado. Christian has his own internet radio station, Radio Moscow, which plays Russian music of the '30s and '40s.
